This bathroom had just been remodeled a few years earlier by another Contractor. The customer had suspected water damage under their shower mud pan. After demoing the shower pan, we found mold where the drain had failed. Luckily, there wasn't a large amount of water damage. We demoed the entire bathroom, and safely removed the mold.
Winter Construction laid new backer board and built a new shower mud pan. Radiant heat was installed under the new tile. A beautiful open concept shower was built with a small privacy tempered glass piece on the upper part of the shower only.
Creating a shower without a door, was a big savings to this Gig Harbor client. We have completed another bathroom remodel for these wonderful clients, and will begin a deck project in the Summer of 2019.
